Description

The Newton Message Pad 130 had an ARM 610 processor running at 20Mhz.  It had 8Mb of ROM and 2.5Mb of RAM.  The screen was a backlit LCD with a maximum resolution of 320 x 240.  A modem card was an optional expansion.

History

The Newton Message Pad 130 was an upgraded version of the 120.  The biggest improvement came with the backlit screen that was available on demand and therefore used little extra power.

Timeline
